We are excited to show you around. The 135,000 square foot indoor turf facility, will accommodate a full size field of 120 yards x 71 yards, walking lanes, jump pit, batting cages, sport simulators, and ample viewing spaces. On this snowy weekend- we are excited to share a glimpse inside the New Greenheck Turner Community Center.
Topping Off Ceremony- October 30, 2023
Ground breaking took place in October of 2022 and the anticipated opening will be in Fall of 2024. More photos and videos will posted throughout the entire process. This project is also being documented in our new Newsletter and will be shared with the community, donors, parents, teachers and civic leaders.
The Greenheck Turner Community Center is a 135,000 square foot indoor turf facility, as an addition to the current Greenheck Fieldhouse, that will accommodate a full size field of 120 yards x 70 yards, walking track, jump pit, batting cages, and ample viewing spaces. Ground Breaking for this new addition took place in October of 2022. The facility will open by Fall of 2024.
The Greenheck Turner Community Center is named after Mary Greenheck Turner who passed away in 2019. Her father Robert C. Greenheck and her husband Scott L. Turner along with Mary’s three brothers Jim, Paul and Bobby have been supporters of the project from the very beginning.
The Greenheck family supported the original Greenheck Field House which was built in 1997.
